Direct answers

Confirm the details before you authorize.

What must match before I send?

Match the asset, network and destination details before authorizing the transfer.

Why does network selection matter?

The same asset can exist on different networks. A deposit address for one network can reject or lose funds sent on another.

When do I need a memo or tag?

Some exchange deposits require a memo, tag, or reference in addition to the address. Confirm the destination screen before sending.

Why send a test transfer?

A test transfer costs time. A wrong network or address can cost the full amount.

Verification steps

Work through each check from asset to record.

This page does not generate addresses, QR codes, live fees, or transaction hashes. Compare the details on your own send and receive screens.

Asset and network match

Confirm the token and network on both the sending and receiving sides before opening the confirm screen.

Address verification

Compare the full destination address character by character. Do not trust truncated previews alone.

Memo or tag

Add the destination memo, tag, or reference when the receiver requires it. Internal transfer rules can differ from blockchain withdrawals.

Test transfer

Send a small test before moving the full amount, then wait for destination confirmation.

Fee and amount

Review send amount, fee, minimums, and expected credited amount on the destination platform.

Destination confirmation

A pending transaction hash is not the same as a credited destination balance. Confirm the credit before sending more.

Full transfer

Authorize the full amount only after the test transfer, network, and destination details are confirmed.

Transaction record

Save the transaction hash, destination context, amount, network, and time for later review.

Wrong-network response

If funds were sent on the wrong network, stop further sends and use the destination platform's official recovery process if one exists.

Final transfer check

Run the Final Transfer Check

Complete each control against the actual withdrawal and deposit screens. This checklist records no address, account, or wallet data.

FAQ

Before-you-send questions

Does this checklist validate an address on-chain?

No. It helps you compare asset, network, address, memo, amount, and destination details yourself. It does not label an address safe or run a blockchain lookup.

What is the difference between an internal transfer and a blockchain withdrawal?

An internal transfer stays inside a platform's ledger. A blockchain withdrawal leaves through a network, address, and fee. Confirm which type of transfer the destination expects.

Is a transaction hash proof the destination credited me?

Not by itself. A hash shows a broadcast or recorded transfer. Confirm the destination balance or deposit status before sending the remaining amount.

What should I do after a wrong-network send?

Stop sending more funds. Use only the official recovery process of the destination platform if one exists, and keep the transaction hash and screens for support.

Final transfer checklist

Authorize only after the destination is confirmed.
